Models must be healthy and sporty to stay in shape... They are disciplined and strong! Not like you fattie who's sitting in front of the Macbook with a bag of chips and criticize skinny girls... A lot of models have good genetics and are naturally thin, but they must stay being in shape by working out and healthy food. 99% of the models today are absolutely healthy and normal because the agencys are kicking girls who have an bmi under 17.5 out so stop lying. for the fat idiots who assume that everyone who's thin has an eating disorder, no. you're probably a few pounds overweight but nobody's accusing you of having a fucking binge eating disorder. eating disorders are actual MENTAL ILLNESSES. having a certain body type does not automatically imply that someone is mentally ill. most models' bmis are about 17-19. although anything below 18.5 is technically underweight, a bmi has to be under 16 to actually have serious health effects (unless the person has an eating disorder, which brings health effects of its own). just like someone with a bmi of 26-27 isn't going to automatically get diabetes and die of obesity or something, someone with a bmi of 17-19 isn't automatically disordered. so just. fucking. stop. most of these girls look healthy. also, to be anorexic, you have to lose like 10+ pounds a month, which these girls obviously don't because if they'd been steadily losing that much weight their entire careers, they'd probably be dead by now. dieting and worrying about body image is not an eating disorder. being skinny is not a mental illness. when will people understand that all bodies are unique. one model might eat an apple a day and one model might eat tons of junkfood every day and they will both weigh 100 pounds. it's about metabolism, genes and just science that we'll never figure out, just stop assuming things. - natagrenab54
