Dean ML (specifically the original 70's/80's and their reissue counterparts) ftw. Great balanced weight, great sustain, great access to the upper frets, and generally just well made guitars. Gibson used to be great but I've heard they've been having quality control problems lately. Fender is good but they haven't really tried to progress their formula for over 50 years. Ibanez, Jackson, ESP, and Charvel are cool too. - Kings Field

They made a guitar that to this day sound like no other, and with features that companies like Fender and Gibson COPY years later (independent mic selector, independent face on/off for every mic, straigt string neck, rollers for the string, 0 fiction, etc, etc) It should be in the Top 3, not putting it in a Top 10 say A LOT about those who made this ranking... - Sebastian Greco
